The N900 running Quake III Arena

Twaelti has prepared this video demonstrating Quake III Arena running on an N900. The Maemo port was done by omcfadde, and makes use of the internet tablet’s hardware interfaces:
- the accelerometer to move and jump
- the touchscreen to aim, and
- the proximity sensor to fire
The game looks quite playable and frame rates are good.
The video shows the game on an “old TV”, using the N900’s TV-out facility. In the video, Twaelti takes us through a few levels and sometimes holds the internet tablet in front of the TV so that we can see how it’s being played.
